Congratulation to THE HOPE in Carshalton which has been voted SPBW London Pub of the Year for 2016. This is the first pub from the 'Surrey suburbs' to win this award. The Hope is a free house serving seven handpumped beers from around the country and is owned by a consortium of its customers. Close to the rail station, it's very much a community pub.
The presentation of the award will be made in January and we'll announce the date as soon as we know it.
